Hamsters are rodents. there are various kinds of hamsters in the world and almost found in every country. Hamsters belonging to the Kingdom : Animalia, Phylum : Chordate, Subphylum : vertebrate, class : Mammal, Order : Rodentia, Family : Cricetidae, and Subfamily : Cricatinae. The subfamily contain about 25 species and classified in six or seven genera...

Hamsters are stout-bodied, with tails shorter than body lenght, and have small furry ears, stocky legs, and wide feet. They have thick and silky fur can be black, gray, honey, white, yellow, or red depending on the species or a mix of any of those colors. Hamsters have poor eyesight. They are nearsighted and colorblind. However, They have an acute sense of smell and can hear extremely well. Hamsters can use their sense of smell to detect gender and locate food. They are also particularly sensitive to high-pitched noises but can hear and comunicate in the ultrasonic range *WoOow,,,!!!* They are very flexible and their bones are somewhat fragile. They are extremely susceptible to rapid temperature changes.

Hamsters are Omnivorous. They are really like nuts and grain rice, but also includes fresh fruits,roots, green parts of plants, invertebrates and some other small animals such as insect ( grasshoppers, etc. ) but hamsters in the Middle East have been known to hunt in packs to find insect for food.

Their habits are sleeping, climbing, playing, and also carry food in their spacious cheek pouches to their underground storage chambers. When full, Their cheeks can make their heads double ( or even triple ).

Hamsters habitat in north are located of Central Europe through Siberia, Mongolia, and Northern China until Korea. Mean while Hamsters habitat in the south are located of Syria and Pakistan. But commonly, they live in thedesert border, sandhill, foothill, and lowland which bushes and rocky, river valleys, vast grass lands, and some also live in fields planting.
